The Willamette Radio Workshop was unavailable for this live performance of "A Christmas Carol." Our new partner, Metropolitan Performing Arts offers community-based talent and new directions for future performances.

Our performance adapts the script of The Campbell Playhouse, December 24, 1939, performance of "A Christmas Carol" starring Lionel Barrymore, as Ebenezer Scrooge, Orson Welles as the narrator, and actors from The Mercury Theatre on the Air.

Significance

This is the fifth year offering "A Radio Christmas Carol" as a live, community performance. And the first year Re-Imagined Radio collaborated with Metropolitan Performing Arts, based in Vancouver, Washington, to offer a live, community performance of "A Christmas Carol" at Kiggins Theatre.
